PEEK ESD (Polyetheretherketone Carbon Fiber Filled)

PEEK ESD is an extruded Static Dissipative PEEK based polymer system developed specifically for electronic fixture applications that require a high degree of dimensional stability over an extended thermal range as well as precise machine-ability.

  • Integrated Chip Trays and Carriers
  • PCB Board Manufacturing and Handling
  • Fixturing for Electronic Assemblies

Characteristics:

  • Surface resistivity 10^5 – 10^8 Ohm/Square (Static Dissipative Range)
  • Thermal performance to 480°F (248°C) Continuous Use
  • Excellent Chemical Resistance
  • Excellent Dimensional Stability
  • Semitron® ESd products are inherently dissipative. They do not rely on atmospheric phenomena (humidity) to activate, nor are surface treatments used to achieve dissipation. Static electricity is dissipated through these products as readily as it is dissipated along the surface.
